Hi, I’m Brian…

I’m an award-winning author, editor, publisher, Facebook-famous YouTuber, and former mortician’s assistant. My work has appeared in publications from Stormgate Press, Atomic Press, Stone Door Studios, Pro Se Press, Flinch Books, Crazy 8 Books, Silver Phoenix Entertainment, Becky Books, Hogan’s Alley, BEN Books, TwoMorrows Publishing, GDC Publishing, and Lion’s Share Press, as well as my own Rising Tide Publications and Freelance Words imprints.
My output covers many genres: Action/Adventure, New Pulp, Contemporary Fantasy, Horror, Humor, Westerns, Non-fiction, and even Romance. In addition to my own original characters (Vulcana, Santastein, Doc Saga, D’Arcy Clay, Reverend Death, Harriet Houdine, etc.), I’ve gotten to write new adventures of characters created by Bobby Nash, Charles F. Millhouse, Jim Beard and John C. Bruening, along with several classic public domain comic book personalities created by Jerry Siegel, Gardner Fox, Richard Hughes, and Charles Nicholas.
I’m a frequent guest on many podcasts, but in addition to my current Monday @ 9 a.m. interactive talk show, NO WARNING, I’ve also created shows such as Nevermind the Furthermore, Clever Title Pending, BKMinutes, and Comic Book Spectrum. An Illinois native, I live in Central Indiana with my wife, Cookie, who is also a freelance editor and book designer, along with no children, no pets, and too many comic books. #alwayspromote #alwayspromoteyourfriends #fueledbyspite

Santastein

Santastein

In this tale of irreverent holiday horror, Dr. Victor Frankenstein raids the graveyard to assemble not just a man, but the Spirit of Giving himself. However, will the creature save Christmas for the village or will he lead to its destruction?

This book has sold in six different nations, five of whom still get along with us for some odd reason. We say that Santasteinis laugh out loud funny, but we’re only going by what other people tell us.

If you found The Nightmare Before Christmas to be way too saccharine, this is the book for you. Read it aloud to someone you love and try, just try, to maintain a straight face.
Conflict

Conflict

CONFLICT is the first in the Archtypical Musings series where classic pop culture figures are reduced to their basic essences in an dramatic tale torn from real life and drawn from the media that spawned our new mythology. In this first book, the heroine’s old enemy arranges for a father to kidnap his own daughter as unwitting bait. Despite her power, her strength, all her toughness, the Heroine knows her weakest point is in danger … her heart.

A dramatic change of pace from author Brian K. Morris (Santastein, Bloodshot: The Coldest Warrior, With Great Power).

Malicious Mysteries

Malicious Mysteries

When Patricia Davis suddenly left this world on August 22, 2015, her death devastated a family who loved her more than the world. On top of everything, she had no life insurance, leaving her three sons to raise the money to pay the very understanding owners of the funeral home who hosted her funeral. When her youngest son, who is an author, discussed the issue with some of his colleagues, they decided to put together an anthology of short stories. And, since Patricia loved crime stories, they selected that as the theme.

The stories feature Metahumans, CSI agents, and even a story based loosely on historical figures. All proceeds of each sale go to the Funeral Fund of Patricia Ann Davis.

Space Gods

Quest for the Space Gods: The Chronicles of Conrad Von Honig

ANCIENT ASTRONAUTS
Murder, intrigue, betrayal, suspense… Most authors merely write about such things. Conrad von Honig lives them.

As a world-renowned yet controversial best-selling author, Von Honig’s only real satisfaction comes from his quest for the truth. He believes that aliens from outer space visited our planet long ago and left behind a stunning footprint in the form of not only human impressions of their presence, but actual artifacts of their advanced technology.

But is humanity truly prepared to believe him? Did these “astronauts” from other worlds actually exist? Did they impact our species and influence human evolution in ways far beyond our comprehension? Conrad von Honig will find the truth, or die trying.

Blue Circle

The New Adventures of The Blue Circle

Sometimes one good man is enough to save a city from crime. But sometimes that one good man needs the support of a council of formerly evil men to have any hope of rescuing a city from its own darkness.

Len Stafford is a millionaire inventor, but when crime strikes, he leaves his penthouse apartment to become THE BLUE CIRCLE, masked crusader for justice. He leaves notes on blue paper with a large blue circle to relay messages, either to strike fear in his enemies or to summon help from those allied with him. He carries no weapons aside from his powerful fists, athletic ability, and keen analytical mind.
THE BLUE CIRCLE, however, is more than just a man in a mask. The name also refers to seven former criminals. While in prison, each member showed enough remorse for their crimes for Stafford to write letters of commendation to the State Governor. In turn, the governor granted the seven people early paroles. In return for their release, these people advise Stafford in his costumed identity, acting as consultants, even sometimes taking a hand alongside their representative in the streets.

Three of today’s best genre fiction authors take on this nearly forgotten classic character from the Golden Age of Comics in three new stories. Even when the Blue Line may not be enough, criminals fear THE BLUE CIRCLE!
